Simply what matters
We believe in keeping things simple. That's why we make our yogurts with just a few ingredients and no added sugar* or sweetners.
Our Danone yogurt story started more than 100 years ago, when our founder created his first yogurts, then sold in pharmacies. His vision of delivering health through food has seen us through the years and remained our north star.
What matters most to us are families, our communities and our planet. That’s why we’re all about doing our bit for them, by focusing on the simple things. From our beginnings, we’ve believed that focusing on the simple things gives us the most delicious results. That’s why today, we make our yogurts with just milk, live cultures and fruit & veg combinations that we think taste amazing. All with no added sugar* or sweeteners. It’s how we think yogurt should taste… thick and creamy but not too sweet.
And it’s not just about what goes into the pots, We’re passionate about doing our bit to make it simpler to build the future we all want. That’s why we’ve made sure that all our pots and cardboard are 100% recyclable, so please don’t forget to recycle them. It’s a start, a simple step, and there’s so much more we want to do. All of this is why we’re delighted to be a B Corp.
For us doing good is about more than just making delicious yogurts with no added sugar* or sweeteners. It’s about doing our bit for families, our communities and our planet. It’s been our belief for the last 100 years, and it’s what we will be focusing on over the next 100.
Danone in Ireland
We believe, now more than ever, that it should be simple for everyone to eat healthily.
We developed these yogurts in conjunction with families to reflect the simplicity they are seeking. Our mission is to help as many families as possible to build sustainable healthy eating habits… by reinventing yogurt.
The Danone brand yogurt range uses ingredients that consumers recognise: just milk, live cultures and a fruit and vegetable layer, all with no added sugar or sweeteners.
We want to make recycling easy by using 100% recyclable pots and cardboard and clear on pack recycling labels. We are working hard to make sure the lids can be recycled in the future too.
As pouches are made from a mix of materials they can’t be placed in the recycling bin at home so need to be recycled in a special way, which is why Danone yogurt has partnered with TerraCycle®. TerraCycle is an eco-friendly recycling company that has become a global leader in recycling typically non-recyclable waste. You can recycle all brands of yogurt pouches and caps in 3 different ways:
1. By dropping them off at a public drop-off location
2. By setting up your own public drop-off location
3. By collecting them at home
